Race Up To Annihilation is a game concept where the player embodies a young man that leave his home to learn about the world and to find his lost father.

I made the level design of one huge vehicle that the player has to infiltrate.


The project was made in 4 weeks and made alone.

- Level Design : Intentions -

Not a hard level, this is the first vehicle of Vegatech that the player explores : the ironclad Sea Burial .

20 - 30 minutes long. Reaching the vehicle is already a challenge, so the level doesn’t need to be lengthy.

Introduction to the enemies from Vegatech : soldiers, engineers and elite soldier.

❖ Neil is making a betrayal, the player has to
sneak inside the vehicle.

Feeling of success when the ship explode during the escape.

Main objectives

Blockout

The ironclad Sea Burial is one of the huge vehicle that the player will have to explore during his adventure.

The objective is to wreck the ironclad from the inside to keep it on place before it goes to war.

I tried to make an infiltration level design. Once the player got the first objective, an alarm start and the level flow change with more fighting area.

Story

In a post-apocalyptic world destroyed by the war, Neil, a young man will try to leave his hometown to find his dad after the death of his mother.

He will find himself in the middle of a
huge conflict between the cities of Vegatech and Biomix, menacing the world once more.

Gameplay

Combat: Neil can fight in melee with special stick and shoot projectiles with different type.

Magnet
: Neil has a magnet to control magnetic elements to fight or explore.

Exploration: Neil can explore the world destroyed by the war and the 2 cities.

Vehicle: Neil has a fast vehicle to travel accross the world.
