The Vanished Ones
The Vanished Ones is a game concept where the player embodies an explorer travelling through ruins of ancient civilizations.
I made the level design of one part of one area.
The project was made in 2 weeks and made alone.

I had to make a map that could be expand. This is only a part of the area of the land of Swahah.

The Hidden Temple is an area where the player has to find a mysterious stone inscribed.
The level architecture is inspired by Ancient Egypt, with tombs and temple buried in the sand.
The main goal of the the game is to etablish many impressive moments during the exploration of the map, the feeling of being really small in a huge environment.
The map begins with small ruins that become more and more majestic as the player progress.

Story
A young explorer, Vasco, travel around the world to find answer about him.
Since his childhood, Vasco has abilities like no others, his body can be reenforced with his mind.
When he thinks about one part on his body, in a fight for example, he can create powerful and visible energy around him.
But every power has a cost, Vasco feel that his whole body weakens when he uses his power so he has to find a way to understand what this mysterious energy is.
His journey brings him to different ruin of old civilizations that have all a link with this power.


Gameplay
Exploration: The player will progress accross ancients human structure and environment.
Combat: Nervous fighting system based on level elements.
